NTB's starting pay
for drivers is as follows:

Short Haul Loads:
| 1-50 loaded miles |

Weekend Incentive:
All drivers working during designated weekend hours add 3 cents
to base rate.
Note: All Short Haul
and Weekend rates paid over and above current rate and cap.
Pickup and Drop Pay:
$10 after first pickup and/or drop.
Load and Unload pay:
$10 per hour (must physically handle freight).
Detention Pay:
Michigan Meijer Stores - $10/hour after first 1/2 hour.
Intrastate Loads - $10/hour after first 1/2 hour (max 10 hours).
Interstate Loads - $10/hour after first two hours (max 10 hours).
City Work:
When a driver works within a 35-mile radius of the terminal =
$10 per hour. Must meet established criteria.
Breakdown Pay:
$10 per hour up to a 10 hour maximum if the mechanical problem
causes delay and is no fault of the driver
Bonuses:
Holiday Incentive - an additional $30 paid for working six hours
or more on one of the recognized holidays (New Years Day, Memorial
Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas).
Safety Bonus - 1/2
cent/mile less cost of damages for preventable accidents, freight
damages, and shortages. This bonus will be paid out annually.
Log Bonus - $50 per
month for no log violations during the month.
