Driver Growth at NTB

Spring is here! It may not seem like it, but it’s not winter anymore. The forecast seems to show no more days below freezing, which we hope means not a single flake or spot of ice on the roads.

Though the weather has been questionable for the last few weeks, we can tell that things have improved in comparison to some of the rough months behind us. Productivity is up as drivers are able to travel more miles without weather slowing them down. Our maintenance staff is doing a great job to make sure all trucks are in good condition so that drivers are safe and not slowed down at all.

Beyond the optimism we have about the weather and our productive year ahead, we have some interesting facts about our team that we’d like to share:

• We’ve recently had a 3% jump in our total number of drivers. This means more great people joining our exceptional team.
• Our recruiting department has seen an incredible 10% increase in hiring drivers throughout the year.
• Trends for hiring look positive and we believe we can add many more drivers as new centers open and demand grows.

As we move forward into wonderful weather with consistent work, we hope to fill even more driver positions and continue being a friendly and respected trucking resource!
