Fitting a Hunting Trip Into Your Trucking Schedule

Our drivers can’t wait to head out and enjoy the fall weather this bow season or in the upcoming rifle season. We know you want to get the most out of your trip, so it’s always best to plan ahead and get the most bang for your buck!
Before your trip, be sure to check the following items off your list:
- Clean your binoculars, scope, and firearms
- Make sure your license is ready and that you’ve reviewed local rules and regulations
- Hang treestands, set up your blind, or inspect your stand
- Sharpen your knives and broadheads
Once you’re ready to head out into the woods, be sure to have your day pack ready to go. Outdoor Influence suggests the following items:
- Waterproof matches/lighter/fire starter
- Toilet paper
- Camera
- Lunch and/or snack foods
- Emergency whistle
- Compass
- Map of area
- GPS
- Knife
- Flashlight
- Repellent
- Filled water bottle
- Space blanket
- Binoculars
- Microfiber sweatshirt or shirt
- Moleskin/blister pads
- Bandages
- Nylon cord
- Large plastic “leaf” bag
