Getting to Know NTB
When you’re considering working for a company, you want to know two things: what do they do and where did they come from? And while it’s obvious that NTB is a trucking company, you may not know where the company got its start and what’s been going on lately.
Who is NTB?
Nationwide Truck Brokers, Inc. was a partnership originally founded in 1974 by West Michigan natives Dan Koster and Roger VerLee. The newly founded company proved successful over its first 10 years in business, and in 1984, Dan Koster and his sons amicably bought out Roger VerLee’s portion of the business.
Since then Nationwide Truck Brokers, more casually referred to as “NTB,” has continued to grow, going on to buy its own tractors and trailers and moving away from long hauls, towards primarily offering regional carrier services for the Midwest and surrounding areas.
Fast forward to 2018 and NTB’s current fleet of roughly 235 trucks and more than 830 trailers continues to provide consistent, high-quality services to a range of industries and clientele.
