Get Going On Your Education
During a normal year, spring would be a great time to begin CDL school. This year most, if not all, schools in the Midwest are closed due to COVID-19.
With that in mind, now is a good time to research schools with a plan to begin classes as soon as they open back up. Take care that you choose reputable sources to start your education.
You can get a head start by doing some learning using online resources, and understanding some of the skills that it takes to be a truck driver, such as how to back a tractor trailer to a loading dock and learning basic truck parts and maintenance skills you’ll need to know to pass the test. If you start studying now, achieving your CDL will be a breeze!
