A number of our trailers are equipped with a PSI Tire Inflation System. This system monitors and maintains tire pressure at a proper level. On the front driver side of the trailer is an indicator light that will be on as the system delivers air during the initial system charging and will also be on as an indicator of a possible issue. Because tire pressure can be affected by a number of factors, one of which is temperature, you may notice with the colder temperatures that the indicator lights is coming on during startup and staying on a bit longer than during the warmer months. This indicator light stays on while the system monitors the tire pressures and adjusts as necessary. This is only a cause for concern if the indicator light stays on for more than 10 minutes at startup or comes on during normal operation. If either of these happen, please contact Maintenance.
As always, thank you to our drivers for your attention to detail and dedication to safety. And thank you to our maintenance staff for making sure all of our equipment is in tip top shape!
