We’ve Got a World Yo-Yo Champion in the Family! See Him in Action Aug 3-6.
If you were like many of us as kids, you probably attempted to roll a small wooden or plastic ball up and down a string that hung from your finger. Chances are the result was a tangled and knotted mess.
That wasn’t the case for Jacob Elliott, son of our new Grand Rapids employee, Ken Elliott. Jacob is a professional yo-yo player who has spent the past 5 years traveling the world to participate in competitions. In the last two years he has competed in the Czech Republic, Japan and China.
By the way, did we mention that he is the current 5A Yo-Yo US Champion, Pan-American Champion and World Champion?

From August 3rd through 6th, Jacob will be joining more than 1,000 fellow yo-yo players in Cleveland, Ohio to attend the 2016 World Yo-Yo Contest. This is the world’s largest gathering of yo-yo competitors and spectators.
