NTB is pleased to announce a pay increase for all drivers. Effective with your pay period beginning 3/19/2015, the following changes will take effect.
Base pay will increase by 3 cents ($0.03) per mile
Short haul pay is as follows
We are also changing our tuition reimbursement program for new drivers, accelerating the reimbursement to 12 months. Current drivers receiving tuition reimbursement will remain under the current rules, except that they will be reimbursed on a weekly basis instead of monthly.
We just completed a review of our driver compensation package, as it compares to the industry. We found the following:
- Our total pay is near the top of our operating group (over the road truck drivers)
- Our vacation package (four weeks at 15 years) is almost unheard of in the industry
- Our health care package is among the best.
- Our home time (guaranteed the same two days every week, and 104 days per year) is much better than most over the road trucking operations.
