It’s important to remember procedures for reefer and temperature-controlled loads to be sure we’re following guidelines for safe transport.

Temperature Controlled Loads & Reefer Loads

It's critical that drivers always manage the running reefer that is being pulled or dropped. Whenever we pick up a load that requires temperature control, it’s important to find the required temperature in the load information. Upon receiving the paperwork, double check the temperature on the bills, and make sure the bill temp matches the dispatch temp. If at any time they don't match, call dispatch! Check the box temp against the set temperature to make sure the unit is functioning properly. It’s also crucial to remember to never drop a reefer less than 7/8 full of fuel.

Thank you to all of our NTB drivers for carefully checking details and making sure we are delivering our loads safely and securely!
