Service Area Construction Updates

We have two updates to share with you, both in the Kalamazoo/Portage, MI area.

First Update: All ramps at I-94 and Sprinkle Rd (exit 80) are close and will remain closed until some time in November. The plan is to rebuild the overpass and then build “Roundabouts” at each end of the overpass. This will hamper access to NTKA.

• If you are approaching from the east, use I-94 Business Loop at exit 81 and access NTKA from there.
• If you are approaching from the East, you will need to exit at Portage Road (exit 78), go north on Portage Road to Cork Street, go east on Cork to Sprinkle Rd and go north to Market.
• If you are approaching from US 131 (GR, etc) exit at D Ave (exit 44). Go east on D Ave. D Ave turns into Sprinkle Rd, then follow Sprinkle Rd. south to Market.

Second Update: Sometime around the end of April, there will be heavy construction on S. Westnedge Ave in Portage between I-94 and the Crossroads Mall. This will cause problems you more details and detour routes as we get closer to that time.
