NTB Purchases 6+ Acres in Stanwood, MI to Expand Operations
NTB is excited to announce that we’ve acquired property in Stanwood, MI to grow our company, accommodate more drivers, and bring more people to our team!
The property is about 6–8 acres on 8 Mile Rd, off of exit #131 on US-131. It has an existing building in which we’ve been a tenant since 2006. We began with leasing just three parking spots, but now there are fourteen drivers domiciled in that location. Soon we will have room for many more. We would like to see 25–30 drivers who can use this as their home location, which will extend our operations more deeply into Big Rapids and Northern Michigan. In addition to hiring more drivers, we will need a larger crew in Stanwood, and look forward to growing our team once we get closer to completion of this location.
Beyond creating spaces for drivers, the facility will have maintenance operations and a scale. The nearest scale is located about ten miles away in Howard City. The inconvenience of driving ten miles away to be weighed, especially if something is wrong and the driver has to make the trip twice, will be alleviated with our new scale.
